PowerPC 750 PMC Module for Voiceboard Products

The MediaPro PMC750 is an optional PowerPC 750 processor board compatible with the PMC industry standards for cPCI and VME bus.

The PMC750 is a companion board to Voiceboard MediaPro network controllers and DSP resource boards, designed to run maximum performance Layer 3 and up communication protocol stacks.

Voiceboard offers a variety of advanced communications software packages for the PMC 750, downloadable into flash memory via the carrier board’s ethernet port or its PMC PCI bus.

The PMC750 real time OS provides enhanced performance over system architectures running the equivalent communications protocol stacks on a system host OS. System scalability and availability is dramatically enhanced by incorporating the PMC750 with the network controller board.

• PowerPC 750 266-350 MHz processor
• 64 Mbyte SDRAM, 128 Mbyte optional
• Downloadable flash memory
• 1 Mbyte L2 cache
• Variety of RTOS BSP’s available, VxWorks BSP is standard.
• Fully ported communications protocol stacks - SS7 ISUP; SS7 TCAP, MAP; H.323, SIP, MGCP/MEGACO, TCP/IP and others available
• Fully integrated with MediaPro® SuperSpan T1/J1/E1 communications controller
• Support for 10/100 base T ethernet port on carrier board.
