Camarillo, CA – June 14, 2007, Voiceboard Corporation announced today its BridgeWay-8M, a MIL-STD mobile Communications Command and Control Console, Intercom and Radio Interoperability system. The BridgeWay-8M leverages advanced VoIP technology to provide the Military with major SWAP savings, new functionality and increased mobility over prior technology.
BridgeWay manages collaborative voice communications between Land Mobile Radio (LMR), SATCOM terminals, telephone systems, user headsets and VoIP networked communication terminals, such as laptops, workstations and IP telephones.
The 8M is a compact MIL-STD-810 packaging of our complete BridgeWay Console system, intended for supporting mobile users of military advanced communications technology programs, such as Win-T, JTRS and others. BridgeWay-8M packs the power to support 8 radios and up to 64 Java based command and control consoles in a (8.5Lx6.2Wx2.0H inch) package. Field personnel may plug in SAT phone, radios, headsets and IP communications terminals or PC’s and have a complete field communications network setup in minutes.
The BridgeWay MC2 command and control operator console GUI option is supported via an embedded web server and call manager, eliminating the necessity for external server and call manager equipment. The MC2 call manager GUI provides operator command and control over multiple radios, cross patching and intercom communications across a multi-location distributed network. Multiple BridgeWay systems may be networked together and console operators may log in on to any terminal located on the network. MC2 client software will run on any laptop, computer or workstation supporting a standard web browser and JAVA scripts.
Available options include T1/E1interface, 8-port Layer 2 Ethernet switch, Digital Radio interface and SIP or H.323 gateway.
